  • The 1956 El Arador was dedicated to the "memories of the school we have known for many years." The Summer '56 graduation ceremony was held on the grounds of the "new" GHS "athletic/football" field.

  • The theme of the 1956 El Arador was "Moments to Remember"..."We'll have these moments to remember"..."The ballroom prize we almost won",.."The quiet walks".."The familiar walks"..."The day we tore the goal post down"..."The laughter we were glad to share"..."We'll have these Moments to Remember". There was an aerial view of the "new" GHS. There is also a picture of a "G" from a "Card Stunt" the Pep Club sponsored.
